Overview
Consultant to support the implementation of DTM activities within the region, focusing on information management, data quality, analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of RDH Information Management (IM) initiatives and synergy of tools/systems.
- Coordinate data management processes for the regional data warehouse.
- Design/adapt Kobo/ODK tools, codebooks and metadata.
- Manage data pipelines (ingest, validation, cleaning, storage).
- Run systematic QC checks and resolve issues.
- Produce analytical outputs (factsheets, situation updates, profiles, dashboards, maps).
- Manage geodatabases and spatial layers.
- Produce static and web maps, dashboards and infographic assets.
- Provide training and coaching on methods, tools, data protection and safe/ethical data use.
Required Experience
- Three years of experience with a Master's degree, or five years of relevant professional experience with a University degree.
- Experience in Information Management; emergency humanitarian operations; management and coordination of information flows; data management including collection, storing, processing, and analyzing data to generate information products.
- Experience in Migration research or research in general is an advantage.
- Experience in data visualization and information design skills.
- Experience with handling confidential and sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Computer Science, Media or Social Sciences or any discipline related to Information Management.
- University degree in the above fields.
