Overview
Manage finances within the UWR in accordance with the Financial Agreement and Operational Manual for Program Implementation, ensuring compliance with budgetary procedures and payment processes. Provide support to Project Implementation Units and compile budgetary and financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage finances within the UWR in accordance with the Financial Agreement and the Operational Manual for Program Implementation.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary procedures and payment processes within the UWR.
- Provide necessary support to the Project Implementation Units (PIUs).
- Compile and prepare relevant budgetary and financial reports.
- Provide financial management support for the implementation of the UWR.
- Review and approve financial documentation.
- Prepare financial reports, disbursement documentation, and financial information for donors and management.
- Consolidate beneficiaries’ financial plans.
- Prepare Allocation Requests and Loan Fund Transfer Agreements.
- Perform other financial management tasks related to the UWR as assigned by the Head of PMSU.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in public financial management, financial management of investment projects, or financial management under IFI-financed programmes (experience with the EIB will be an advantage).
- Experience in preparation of disbursement applications, financial reporting, budget planning, and management of loan and grant proceeds.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Public financial management, financial management of investment projects, or economics
