Overview

The National Project Officer (Enterprise Development Fund) is responsible for coordinating quality assurance processes within the Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) Technical Team and serving as a focal point for EDF adaptations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination and monitoring of operational, administrative and financial aspects of the project.
  • Keep the EDF Project Officer informed on project implementation status and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in the development and adjustment of EDF technical tools, work plans, M&E tools and SOPs.
  • Coordinate the collection, verification and analysis of data and update information management systems.
  • Support the longlisting and shortlisting process for EDF applications.
  • Coordinate timely preparation and dissemination of project reports.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the planning, development, organization and delivery of capacity building activities.
  • Attend relevant conferences, workshops and meetings.
  • Participate in the preparation and coordination of project reporting and communication products.
  • Supervise EDF Technical Team staff focal points for ESAP and MV.
  • Serve as the focal point for assigned governorate(s).
  • Undertake duty travel relating to project implementation.
Required Experience
  • Two years of relevant professional experience with a Master's degree, or two years of relevant professional experience with a University degree.
  • Experience in liaising with external stakeholders, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations.
  • Experience in working in Livelihoods programming, with an emphasis on working with small and medium sized enterprises and supporting job creation being an advantage.
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution; or University degree in the above fields.
