Overview
The role of Administrative Assistant to the Director involves providing administrative support, assisting with policy coordination, and undertaking cross-cutting responsibilities within the Secretariat-General of the European Commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Support to coordination on policy files
- Drafting minutes
- Supporting quality control
- Managing interservice consultations
- Access to documents
- Supporting planning and reporting
- Handling organisation of the Directorate’s agenda
- Tasks relating to human resources, missions and budget management
- Supporting the secretariat in maintaining the unit’s functional mailboxes and databases, including correspondence and document management
- Keeping track of the Directorate’s workflows and deadlines
Required Experience
Appropriate professional experience of at least three years (if secondary education is the highest qualification).
Qualifications
- A level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma, or
- A level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education
