Overview
The role of Asistente de Gestión de Alojamientos (CCCM) is to support the daily management of temporary shelters and ensure adequate assistance and protection for affected populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany Camps and surrounding Communities to ensure adequate assistance and protection.
- Evaluate needs, vulnerabilities, and gaps in service provision.
- Support internal governance mechanisms and community management of Camps.
- Promote inclusive participation of women, men, youth, elderly, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
- Ensure effective information exchange and accountability mechanisms.
- Strengthen coordination between humanitarian actors and authorities at the local level.
- Support emergency responses and rapid assessments for new displacement events.
- Collect and report relevant information for humanitarian planning, including context analysis and humanitarian needs documents.
- Participate directly and perform functions of daily management of Temporary Camps or other defined temporary accommodations.
- Ensure coordination between camp management teams and service providers.
- Strengthen participation and community structures of each accommodation.
- Monitor site conditions, identify service gaps, and protection concerns.
- Ensure timely referrals to relevant actors present in the accommodations.
- Support risk reduction activities within accommodations.
- Contribute to information management and provide input for reports.
Required Experience
Previous experience in community work, assisting displaced populations, and operational tasks. Desirable: experience working with humanitarian organizations.
Qualifications
Complete university education.
