Overview
The internship aims to attract talented students and graduates interested in areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities, providing support to the Migration Policy and Data Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Programme Coordinator in implementing activities of the Migration Policy and Data Unit, including providing logistical and administrative support for unit events and initiatives;
- Assist with the day-to-day operational activities of the Unit in coordination with Unit staff;
- Attend internal meetings, as requested, and contribute to discussions related to IOM’s operational activities;
- Liaise and communicate with IOM partners on activities relevant to the Unit’s work;
- Support the preparation of situational updates, statistical reports, and other programme-related documentation, as assigned;
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience
Less than two years of relevant working experience.
Qualifications
Current university student in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate (within one year), or enrolled in a Master’s degree in Law, International Relations, Migration Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
