Overview

Support the overall case management of the GAVR Programme workload in Costa Rica, including monitoring implementation, analysing data, and coordinating administrative and technical aspects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate project implementation.
  • Monitor case-management activities and analyse implementation difficulties.
  • Research, compile, analyse and present information/data on developments on returns and reintegrations.
  • Monitor budget expenditures for the caseload.
  • Coordinate and monitor administrative and technical aspects of Case Management activities.
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct capacity building workshops.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, UN agencies, and NGOs.
  • Coordinate preparation of correspondence, briefing notes, presentations, and reports.
  • Identify and document good practices and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to the development of Case Management SOPs, policies and concept papers.
  • Supervise the team of project associates (case management).
  • Supervise and provide guidance and training to reporting staff.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Five years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; or seven years of relevant professional experience with a High School diploma.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations.
  • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organisations, non-government or government institutions/organisation in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or, High School diploma.
