Overview
The Senior Human Resources Associate will participate in the evaluation of staffing needs and assist in coordinating recruitment processes. The role involves carrying out and coordinating pre-employment activities and performing assigned roles in the organizational HR system.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in evaluation of staffing needs and assist in coordination of recruitment processes.
- Carry-out and coordinate pre-employment activities.
- Perform assigned role(s) in the organizational HR system.
- Monitor attendance and leave administration.
- Carry-out and monitor a wide range of Human Resource actions.
- Prepare, coordinate and monitor all reports on personnel matters.
- Update and maintain electronic and physical archiving systems.
- Monitor compliance with the performance evaluation process.
- Plan and coordinate the organization of Human Resources events.
- Provide information to staff on their entitlements and responsibilities.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide inputs for new procedures.
- Assist in analyzing and resolving sensitive cases.
- Participate in inter-agency Human Resources related working groups.
- Provide guidance and training to and coordinate and monitor work of new/junior staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- High School diploma with six years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook; previous experience in SAP is a distinct advantage;
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications
High School diploma; or, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
