Overview
The Health Program Manager leads IRC Utah’s comprehensive health and wellness portfolio, ensuring culturally responsive, linguistically accessible, trauma informed, and strengths based services. This role oversees all health and wellness programming, supervises teams, manages grants, leads community engagement, and strengthens partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development, implementation, compliance, and completion of all service grants and contracts.
- Oversee program budgets and manage expenses.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of services and programmatic data.
- Develop grant proposals and reports.
- Satisfy recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
- Use personal vehicle or public transportation to travel and transport clients and materials.
- Train and lead the activities of volunteers and interns.
- Lead a team in accordance with IRC’s People Manager Standards.
- Train and provide leadership to staff.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance of internal program policies and procedures.
- Serve as point person for collaboration and correspondence with stakeholders.
- Represent the team in conferences, working groups and other contexts.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication and information sharing.
Required Experience
Relevant professional experience in the field of human services required; minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health or related field of study required. Graduate Degree encouraged.
