Overview
This position is primarily responsible for the implementation of child protection community-based activities as part of the Rohingya response, in particular for vulnerable and at-risk children.
Key Responsibilities
- Arranging CBCPC meeting, Adolescent club/ Child club/ parents meeting
- Ensuring referral for children
- Direct service provision of follow-up for vulnerable and at-risk children
- Providing support in MPCAC/GFS/AFS in line with internal standards and guidelines
- Documenting information
- Capacity building of the parents and other stakeholders
- Supporting the child/family through ensuring child protection
- Ensuring data protection in line with internal protocols
- Providing daily updates to the supervisor and preparing regular reports
Required Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience with the Child Protection Program
- Experience in running recreational and psychosocial activities for children and strengthening community-based mechanisms.
- Experience in interviewing, data collection, and contributing to reports.
- Experience in providing/ facilitating training, meeting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as social science, anthropology or development studies or any other relevant department.
