Overview

This position is primarily responsible for the implementation of child protection community-based activities as part of the Rohingya response, in particular for vulnerable and at-risk children.


Key Responsibilities
  • Arranging CBCPC meeting, Adolescent club/ Child club/ parents meeting
  • Ensuring referral for children
  • Direct service provision of follow-up for vulnerable and at-risk children
  • Providing support in MPCAC/GFS/AFS in line with internal standards and guidelines
  • Documenting information
  • Capacity building of the parents and other stakeholders
  • Supporting the child/family through ensuring child protection
  • Ensuring data protection in line with internal protocols
  • Providing daily updates to the supervisor and preparing regular reports
Required Experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience with the Child Protection Program
  • Experience in running recreational and psychosocial activities for children and strengthening community-based mechanisms.
  • Experience in interviewing, data collection, and contributing to reports.
  • Experience in providing/ facilitating training, meeting.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as social science, anthropology or development studies or any other relevant department.
