Overview

Design and facilitate an entrepreneurship capacity building training program for women entrepreneurs under the WE-Collabo Hub Project. The role aims to strengthen entrepreneurial, business management, digital, leadership, and investment readiness capacities of 30 women-led MSMEs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review project documents and implementation framework.
  • Hold inception meetings with UN Women.
  • Conduct a rapid capacity needs assessment of participating entrepreneurs.
  • Develop a detailed work plan.
  • Prepare a comprehensive entrepreneurship curriculum.
  • Design participant training manuals and facilitator guides.
  • Prepare practical exercises, business simulations and case studies.
  • Develop business diagnostic tools.
  • Design pre- and post-training assessment questionnaires.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions using adult learning methodologies, case studies, simulations, peer learning, practical assignments, and group coaching.
  • Provide individualized coaching sessions for all 30 entrepreneurs.
  • Support each entrepreneur to develop a Business Growth Plan, Investor Pitch Deck, Financial Projections, Investment Proposal, and Business Presentation.
  • Organize mock pitching sessions and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare a comprehensive consultancy report including activities undertaken, training methodology, number of participants trained, coaching and mentorship report, assessment results, success stories, lessons learned, challenges encountered, and recommendations for future WE-Collabo Hub cohorts.
Required Experience

At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in entrepreneurship development, business incubation, or MSME acceleration. Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering entrepreneurship training programmes for women-owned businesses. Proven expertise in business coaching, mentoring, and investment readiness. Strong understanding of Rwanda's MSME ecosystem, entrepreneurship policies, and financial sector. Experience supporting enterprises in agribusiness, climate-smart agriculture, digital innovation, the care economy, health technology, or creative industries is highly desirable. Previous experience working with UN agencies, international organizations, or donor-funded programmes is a strong asset.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in business administration, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Finance, Innovation Management, Marketing, Development Studies, or another relevant field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
