Analysis Assistant (G-4) (24516)

Overview

The role involves performing data entry, data cleaning, and supporting crime pattern monitoring and analysis for investigations. It also includes conducting database searches and assisting with other analytical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and data cleaning for relevant databases, including the Fact Analysis Database (FAD).
• Support crime pattern monitoring and analysis by collecting information from open or other sources, data entry, data cleaning, and storage of relevant sources.
• Perform data entry and data processing to support the analysis of telecommunications and similar structured data.
• Conduct searches in databases, open sources, and social media to support analysis.
• Provide support for other analytical tasks, including producing summaries and collations, corroboration checks, and sourcing reports.

Required Experience

Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience in an operational support environment, preferably with data input and/or administrative experience and/or analytical experience, is required. An advanced or a first-level university degree may be considered as a substitute for two years' working experience only to determine eligibility.

Qualifications

Diploma of secondary education is required.
