Overview

Associate Database and ERP Administrator responsible for the general management of databases and the ERP system, including supervision of the administration team and ensuring system availability.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises the database and ERP administration team.
  • Manages and monitors ERP (SAP Netweaver) systems and databases.
  • Maintains and ensures the availability of the database environment.
  • Provides technical input into database and ERP management strategies.
  • Develops upgrades, applies fixes, and supports ERP solution implementation.
  • Participates in the development of technical documents and standards.
  • Performs technical system monitoring.
  • Coordinates backup activities and troubleshoots for data availability.
  • Assists in training and development of technical support staff.
Required Experience
  • Minimum two years of relevant work experience in ICT, particularly in database and ERP management. Four years of experience accepted with a first-level university degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in installation and configuration of Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL (Patroni or Percona) databases with high-availability management technology is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in database optimization, reorganization, capacity management, and backup/recovery on Oracle and SQL Server platforms is required.
  • Experience and certification in applying formal IT management framework (ITIL) is required.
  • Experience and certification on formal Project Management framework (PRINCE2/Agile or PMI) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team within an international environment is required.
Qualifications

Advanced university degree in Systems Engineering, telecommunications, computer science or information systems or related area. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience is accepted.

Languages Required
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court (French or English) is required.
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of the other working language (French or English) is an asset. Knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish) would be considered an asset.
Contract Duration
For initial appointments, the Court offers a two-year appointment with the possibility of extension (six month probationary period).
