Key Responsibilities

• Ready to begin your journey in The School of Volunteering? We are looking for 2 more international volunteers, out of 6, to join our ESC team in Sighișoara, where 15 motivated volunteers are already creating a positive impact in the community. For years, we have turned Sighișoara and Saschiz into learning hubs where creativity, community work, and personal development come together. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements You will live in a real castle in Sighișoara, just 10–20 minutes on foot from the citadel, city center, office, and activity spaces. The castle has 7 double rooms and 2 triple rooms, each with a private bathroom, plus a shared, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. You will receive a monthly allowance of €282. The full ESC travel grant will be transferred to you according to distance rules, and an additional green-travel bonus may apply. Training during the activity Volunteers usually work 5–7 hours/day, 4 days/week, with flexible days when needed. Fridays are dedicated to Personal Development, and weekends are free. You also receive 2 additional days off per month. Each volunteer has a trained Mentor who offers monthly individual and group support. You will also benefit from planning guidance, topic-based trainings, Peer2Peer learning, and Reflection Groups—each designed to strengthen your skills, confidence, and personal growth. Participant profile In our team, nobody is expected to be perfect. We see volunteering as a journey of growth, discovery, and shared learning—for you, for the community, and for us as an organization. Your current skills or previous experience are not what define your suitability for this project. What matters most is your openness to learn, your willingness to engage, and your desire to contribute meaningfully. Above all, respect and strong human values are essential to us.
