Overview
UNICEF is establishing a Global Roster of ECD Expert Consultants to provide technical support on Early Childhood Development to country offices and government partners. The roster will support UNICEF's Strategic Plan (2026-2029) by mobilizing pre-qualified experts.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Policies and legislation that enable opportunities for ECD; Programmes and services that protect, promote, and support ECD; Support to parents and caregivers in caring for their young children and themselves. Responsibilities include advising on policies, governance, financing, M&E frameworks, programme design, implementation, and parenting support.
Required Experience
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in international development. Minimum of 8 years of specialized experience in Early Childhood Development at the global level. Experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams is highly desirable. Experience in supporting resource mobilization efforts is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Masters' degree) in Early Childhood Development, International Development, Developmental Psychology, Education, Global Health or related fields.
