Overview
Conduct a market survey focused on green and economic opportunities, considering gender and youth, to identify viable livelihoods and employment options adapted to climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a methodological note and detailed work plan.
- Submit a provisional market study report including a prioritization matrix and consolidated database.
- Prepare a final multisectoral report in French with an executive summary in English, training materials, a dashboard, a decision note, and a list of recommended micro-projects.
- Present findings at restitution and validation workshops.
Required Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in designing, managing, and evaluating market opportunities for youth and other vulnerable target populations in conflict and crisis environments.
- Experience working with IOM and UN missions/agencies in crisis and conflict-affected environments.
- Demonstrated experience in green or climate-resilient value chain analysis and/or livelihood programs for displaced or displacement-affected populations.
Qualifications
Higher university degree or equivalent in social sciences, economics, or a related field.
