Key Responsibilities
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites eligible and legally registered non‑profit organizations, governmental institutions, intergovernmental bodies, academic and research institutions, and other not‑for‑profit entities to submit proposals for the provision of technical assistance to applicants to the Business Incubator and Accelerator (BIA) for Mountains in Kyrgyzstan. The assignment aims to strengthen the feasibility, sustainability, potential impact, replicability and economic efficiency of applicants’ funding proposals and budgets, while identifying their technical assistance needs and collecting baseline data to support monitoring of the grant programme. The expected services include: review of key information and delivery of a kick-off session for selected applicants; tailored in-person and online technical support for up to 30 applicants selected by the BIA programme management; support to finalize funding proposals and budgets, identify technical assistance needs and priority follow-up actions. assessment of applicants’ progress and performance, including recommendations regarding suitability for receiving a grant and progressing to the Acceleration phase; and preparation of the required final narrative reporting and upload of relevant documentation through the BIA online portal. Procurement method: Call for Proposals under FAO Letter of Agreement modality.
