Information Management Analyst

Overview

The Information Management Analyst will provide expertise in data science, information management, and data visualization to support analytical agendas and data management needs. The role focuses on managing data flows, ensuring data quality, conducting analysis, and developing visual information products for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and maintain database systems for storing datasets.
• Compile, analyse, and interpret data from diverse sources.
• Integrate geospatial data and remote sensing analysis.
• Develop and disseminate information/knowledge products.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards.
• Provide technical guidance and support on KOBO Toolbox.
• Support the updating and management of web-based and programme information platforms.
• Support the transition to digitalized, automated, and real-time reporting systems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, user guidance, and technical notes.
• Support data management, updating, validation, analysis, and reporting for FAO corporate/programme reporting systems.
• Support data cleaning and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.

Required Experience

At least 5 years of relevant experience in data management, statistical analysis, database administration, and information management.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field.
