Overview
Support the Director General's Special Advisor in managing the DG's travel, coordination, policy, and management functions. This role involves facilitating tasking, preparation, and clearance for external engagements and supporting decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the DG’s Special Advisor in following up on delegated matters.
- Coordinate and implement workflows for the DG's external engagements.
- Review materials supporting the DG’s external engagements.
- Provide analysis and context for the DG’s decision-making.
- Coordinate with HQ, ROs, and COs to advance DG requests and priorities.
- Support the implementation of EO policies and processes.
- Accompany the DG on engagements, take notes, and follow up on action points.
- Support the planning and implementation of special projects or events.
- Contribute to guidance and training on EO processes.
Required Experience
Master's degree with five years of relevant professional experience; or University Degree with seven years of relevant professional experience.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Political Science, Social Science, Law, International Relations, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or University Degree in the above fields.
