National Consultant (Communications Officer) – EU OACPS Business Friendly Project in Liberia

Overview

The Consultant will be responsible for delivering measurable outreach, knowledge-sharing, and communication outputs related to the coffee sector for the EU OACPS Business Friendly Project in Liberia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a communications and visibility plan.
• Establish and maintain a content calendar and develop engaging content for digital and social media platforms.
• Provide communications and visibility coverage for key programme activities.
• Document beneficiaries and stakeholders and develop human-interest stories, testimonials, and impact stories.
• Develop and disseminate a project newsletter and implement social media awareness campaigns.
• Develop a short documentary/impact video and support media engagement.
• Consolidate all communications and visibility outputs and develop a final communications package.

Required Experience

• A minimum of five (2) years of relevant professional experience in radio communication for agri-business related projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in implementing EU-funded projects.
• Experience of working with international/donor organizations or in national development agencies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate university degree in communication, social sciences, business administration, economics, or other related fields.
• Practical audio-visual training would be an asset.
• Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree.
