Overview

Provide comprehensive administrative and operational services to support the effective implementation of FAO Representation's programme and project activities in Sudan.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize and coordinate administrative and operational activities of the office.
  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of administrative arrangements for FAO programmes and projects.
  • Plan and implement established procedures, norms and systems for administration-related processes.
  • Review and analyse administrative, financial and personnel information.
  • Monitor programme and project budgets and expenditures.
  • Coordinate and follow up on administrative and financial transactions.
  • Coordinate procurement and other administrative processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance of appropriate financial, administrative and personnel records.
  • Coordinate personnel administration processes.
  • Prepare administrative, financial and operational reports and analyses.
  • Review administrative processes and practices.
  • Coordinate with relevant units at headquarters, regional and country office levels.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable organizational policies, procedures and controls.
  • Ensure that administrative and operational arrangements support programme and project implementation.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience

At least three years of relevant experience in office management, administration, accounting and/or audit, budget or finance.

Qualifications

University degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, finance, management or another field relevant to the position.
