Technical Officer (Governance & International Cooperation)

Overview

Support the coordination of International Technical Assistance to national and regional authorities and lead the establishment and functioning of a regional coordination platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the coordination of International Technical Assistance (ITA) to national and regional authorities.
• Lead the establishment and functioning of a regional coordination platform at oblast level.
• Provide liaison and coordination support with national and sub-national authorities, UN agencies international and national NGOs and other partners.
• Support the supervisor and WHO Representative in preparation for bilateral meetings.
• Contribute to partnerships and joint work among international development agencies and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate multisectoral policy dialogue events, forums and conferences.
• Support information management, data analysis and mapping exercises, and contribute to the preparation of timely reports, briefings and situation analyses.

Required Experience

At least 2 years' demonstrated experience coordinating activities with partners, stakeholders, and donors in public health, health systems, or international development.

Qualifications

First level University degree (Bachelor's level) in social sciences, public health, political sciences, public administration, legal affairs, or a related field.
