Country: Nepal Description of the Assignment: The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Nepal is currently implementing a project Strengthening Health resilience in Nepal-HIV, TB & Malaria (Global Fund) that requires the services of a National Consultant for Assessment of the FAST approach and identification of high patient flow hospitals for implementation in Nepal as part of hospital infection control guideline to perform the work described as per the attached Terms of Reference (ToR) – Annex 1. Objectives of the assignment The consultancy aims to evaluate the feasibility of implementing the FAST strategy in hospital settings by examining its performance across the TB care cascade, including screening, diagnosis, treatment initiation, patient flow, and service linkage. It also assesses the readiness, sustainability, and resource requirements for integrating FAST into routine hospital services, while identifying implementation gaps, barriers, enabling factors, and best practices to develop recommendations for strengthening and scaling up the strategy. Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 20 days spread over 60 days Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
