Overview

The Consultation Design Consultant will lead the design and implementation of a consultation process to identify access-related learning needs and develop recommendations for the Access 101 Tembo course syllabus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a consultation methodology and work-plan.
  • Design and implement a mixed-methods consultation process.
  • Prepare consultation tools and materials.
  • Conduct interviews, focus groups and/or other consultation activities.
  • Analyse consultation findings and identify key learning needs.
  • Produce a report summarising findings and providing recommendations.
  • Present findings and recommendations.
  • Translate consultation findings into recommendations for a syllabus.
  • Recommend learning objectives, thematic areas, audience segmentation, and priority content modules.
  • Advise on suitable learning formats and approaches.
Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in learning design, curriculum development, organizational learning, or stakeholder consultation. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing qualitative and quantitative consultation or research processes. Experience engaging diverse stakeholders across regions, functions, and cultural contexts. Experience in humanitarian, global health, international development, or non-profit environments is an asset.

Qualifications

A degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Health, Organizational Development, or a related field.
