Overview
Provide technical oversight for the solarisation of 20 Civil Registry Sub-Offices, ensuring equipment and works comply with specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure equipment and works comply with approved specifications, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), applicable electrical and solar standards, manufacturers' requirements and safety regulations before acceptance by UNICEF and the Government of Zimbabwe.
Required Experience
At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience in electrical engineering and off-grid or hybrid solar photovoltaic systems. At least five years' relevant experience, including demonstrated assignments involving design review, site assessment, BoQ preparation, equipment inspection, installation supervision, testing, commissioning or certification of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or another directly relevant engineering discipline. Current registration with a recognised professional engineering body.
