Overview
The Supply Chain Officer will oversee day-to-day operational activities including managing procurement requests, contracts, asset inventory, and warehouse matters for assigned districts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update the project procurement and supply plan.
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for timely procurement of supplies.
- Manage assets, inventory, rental vehicles, and warehouse matters.
- Provide administrative support to field offices.
- Develop improved storage plans.
- Enter data into ERP and BVA online systems and generate reports.
- Review and submit monthly field supply chain reports.
- Manage and support staff.
- Generate and review PRTS and Commitment reports.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing and/or fleet management, preferably with an international NGO or development organization. Practical experience in procurement processes, vendor coordination, inventory management, asset tracking, warehousing and distribution. Experience supporting field operations across multiple districts or geographically dispersed locations. Good understanding of procurement policies, donor compliance requirements and documentation standards. Experience with MS Excel, Word and other standard office applications; ability to maintain and analyze inventory and procurement records. Experience of working in KP particularly target districts will be preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelors, Master’s degree will be advantaged in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
