Key Responsibilities
The procurement is intended to: provide a portable gas analyser capable of high-precision methane measurement from field-derived gas samples; support the scientific assessment of methane emissions associated with AWD implementation under Ghanaian rice production conditions; support the generation of field measurement data required for the projects methane measurement activities; contribute to the development of Ghana-specific evidence relevant to the establishment of an emission factor; strengthen CSIR-SARIs technical capacity to undertake methane measurement and analysis associated with rice cultivation; and ensure that designated technical personnel have access to the required equipment documentation, software, technical support and, where required, installation and operational training.
