International consultant for preparation of KIPs and ODS disposal reports
Overview
International consultant to prepare HFC KIP – Stage I proposal and reports on ODS disposal, and to conduct technical reviews of project submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare HFC KIP – Stage I proposal for Saint Kitts & Nevis.
- Prepare three (3) project reports on national inventory of waste-controlled substances and national management plans for Belize, Grenada, and Saint Kitts & Nevis.
- Conduct technical review of five (5) project/report submissions for ExCom-100 and ExCom-101.
Required Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, environmental science, or a related field is required. Extensive experience in drafting projects for the Multilateral Fund or similar international mechanisms, particularly related to HPMPs and KIPs, is required. Excellent written communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of technical issues of ozone-depleting substances, experience in the implementation of Montreal Protocol activities, and experience in data collection, review, and management at the national level regarding HCFCs, HFCs, or related substances are required.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in environmental sciences, sustainable development, environmental management, natural sciences, engineering, or any related discipline is required. A first level university degree in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying work experience beyond the five (5) years required for the Master’s degree, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science programs is desirable.
