Local Consultancy: ECCD Curriculum
Overview
The ECCD Curriculum consultant will facilitate the analysis and review of existing early learning curricula, harmonize/consolidate them, and assess their implementation to support the development of a relevant and contextualized ECCD curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare inception report.
- Assess, review, and harmonize/consolidate existing ECCD curricula to determine what works, best practices, bottlenecks, and implementation status, with recommendations for enhancement and alignment.
- Facilitate a curriculum consultation and writeshop with experienced ECCD Curriculum Writers.
Required Experience
5-10 years’ experience working on ECD/ECCD curriculum development, review and implementation. Actual experience on curriculum review and development for ECCD in any UN agencies or other organization/office. Familiarity on context of BARMM.
Qualifications
Master degree in Early Childhood Development (ECD), Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Early Childhood Education (ECE), Human Ecology major in Family Development, Nutrition, Family Life and Child development and related fields.
