- Come to Ostrava and become a volunteer at the School of Slezská Diakonie! This school serves children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities. Its mission is to provide high-quality education and comprehensive social services for children with special needs, ensuring a personal approach through creative teaching methods. Activities: As a volunteer, your primary role will involve direct interaction with students at the secondary school, offering them personal support in various activities. These include morning community circles, practical exercises, physical activities, relaxation techniques, music therapy, art therapy, and snoezelen therapy. Additionally, you will support students individually and assist the teacher during classes such as math, writing, reading, music, art, crafts, and practical education (like cooking).
