Overview
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources Unit with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, including absence management, vacancy management, and personnel record keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Filing and archiving personnel records.
- Tracking and recording leave for non-staff personnel.
- Providing clerical support in the recruitment process.
- Supporting the onboarding of new staff.
- Assisting with updating and delivering training materials.
- Assisting with HR reporting, data entry, and ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Be either a recent graduate (having completed their studies within two years of applying) or a current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by IAU/UNESCO.
- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR.
