Overview
The Digital Adoption & Communications Intern will assist the HR Systems and People Analytics Unit team in developing digital content and promoting user adoption through engagement with communities of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing short digital training content (e.g. videos) related to Workday, including reviewing available resources and providing insights based on global user feedback;
- Liaise with Workday focal points to identify potential gaps and gather practices from both regional offices and HQ;
- Support the development of new learning paths in Workday Learning;
- Assist in developing communication materials and updating online community platforms;
- Monitor analytics for HR SPA intranet pages;
- Collect intranet user feedback and act as a focal point for publishing HR SPA content;
- Support the development of UNHCR/HR SPA-branded communication materials;
- Stay up to date with knowledge-based article needs in Workday Case Management to help enhance system knowledge;
- Support the team’s change management activities related to HR systems and initiatives;
- Assist in BAU (Business as Usual) activities related to the Workday People Experience (PEX) module and support the team in the implementation of new projects related to PEX;
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Required Experience
- Education and experience in Digital Communications (social media, web, etc.)
- Experience in video content creation
- Experience with SharePoint or other web content management
- Good understanding of current online/digital technology
- Research, Reporting and Communication skills
- Quick learner who is self-motivated, has a positive approach and is eager to grow their capabilities
- Strong writing skills and technological literacy and ability to use a wide range of web related applications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with people in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity
- Excellent organizational skills, with precise attention to detail
Qualifications
- Be either a recent graduate (having completed their studies within two years of applying) or a current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by IAU/UNESCO ; and
- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR .
