Overview
Provide a full range of administrative duties for assigned supervisors, including organizing and maintaining records, preparing correspondence and reports, and assisting visiting ADB missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure correspondence and documents are correctly typed, prepared, and submitted on time.
- Monitor relevant portfolio and pipeline projects.
- Coordinate supervisors' schedules by maintaining calendars, diaries, and arranging appointments, meetings, travel, and accommodation.
- Arrange meetings/appointments with Government of Bangladesh, executing agencies, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare briefing papers for senior management and presentation materials for senior officials' meetings.
- Prepare Aide Memoirs, background papers, back-to-office reports (BTORs), and other reports.
- Edit and format completion and consultant reports.
- Maintain and update office filing systems and records.
- Develop and maintain document files and databases.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing documents, reports, and e-mails.
- Relieve other Operations Assistants as required.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience; preferably in an international organization.
- Sound knowledge of commonly used application software including Microsoft Copilot (word processing, spreadsheets and graphics, presentation applications and search engines).
- Knowledge of processing and project administration activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional and/or academic qualification.
