Overview
The Officer Justice Climatique et Gouvernance is responsible for implementing project activities related to climate justice and inclusive governance for women and youth in decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all DANIDA project interventions ensuring Oxfam's quality standards.
- Produce timely project progress and final reports.
- Establish, monitor, and evaluate partner work plans.
- Identify, organize, train, and mentor field teams.
- Provide regular field activity monitoring and support.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing and presenting project achievements.
- Contribute to the development and update of partner operational action plans.
- Provide support to partner field staff.
- Maintain good working relationships with implementing partners.
- Contribute to strengthening collaboration with decentralized technical services.
- Contribute to the production of quality reports.
- Protect Oxfam's image.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience in the design, implementation, and monitoring-evaluation of development projects (Climate Justice and/or governance).
- Proven knowledge of climate change issues and adaptation practices (agro-ecology, agroforestry).
- Experience in supporting and assisting farmer organizations and other civil society organizations, particularly women and youth.
- Experience working with local partners and decentralized authorities.
- Experience in mentoring and capacity building in advocacy/influence for women's and youth organizations.
- Experience working in peacebuilding and establishing conflict management mechanisms.
- Proven experience in conducting advocacy leading to policy/practice/behavior changes.
- Proven experience in conducting governance and peacebuilding projects.
- Experience in agricultural value chain approach and food product valorization.
- Experience in integrating gender and analyzing gender relations in partner organizations.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bac + 3 university degree or equivalent in agriculture, forestry, social sciences, or any other equivalent diploma.
