Overview
The Oracle Support Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancements, streamlining, and simplifications of global common HR functions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the HRAU Oracle Support Team, resolving technical service requests, implementing business enhancements, preparing change requests, and ensuring prompt error resolution.
- Acts as the focal point for IT related matters and coordinates with IT staff for prompt resolution of system bugs.
- Reviews design and development efforts, collaborates with IT on proposals supporting future enhancements.
- Approves all changes related to HR system fixes/deployment of new functions and customizations.
- Leads, contributes to complex business projects that enhance efficiency, business improvement, continuity, information, and performance of HRAU transactions.
- Investigates technical issues and responds to queries related to HR workflows, including staff entitlements.
- Carries out impact analysis on existing ERP HRAU solution components when policies are revised or new policies are introduced.
- Leads test strategies, develops yearly refresh schedules for cloned HRAU environment, and performs functional testing of customizations and bug fixes.
- Analyzes end-user issues leading to transaction failure/rejections and logs service requests.
- Provides technical support in resolving HRAU related issues with internal and external auditors and provides replies to audit observations.
- Leads the reporting solution for HRAU and generates necessary reports.
- Performs periodic system health checks/status reviews.
- Supports the maintenance and enhancement of HCM by updating HR related configuration elements.
- Publishes/Reviews periodically system priority bugs and enhancements status reports.
- Delivers (HR) ERP trainings to newcomers, as required.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as Payroll, Finance to ensure seamless integration of HCM processes.
Required Experience
- At least five years of experience in HR functions, with expertise in the HR Module of leading cloud ERP Application (preferably Oracle).
- Should have worked on at least two implementation or support projects for HR Module.
- At least two years of managerial responsibility in a large, complex, international organization/company, preferably within a Shared Service Centre or other processing environment.
- Experience in HR management covering multi-country and multi-currency context would be an advantage.
- International experience in UN HR environment at an international professional level would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with at least five years of relevant professional experience; or,
- Bachelor’s degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.
- Certified Oracle Payroll Cloud Implementation Specialist is desirable.
