Overview
Supports the management and implementation of project activities, focusing on entrepreneurship coaching, institutional capacity enhancement, and improving knowledge of returnees' needs for economic support.
Key Responsibilities
- Participates in project development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitors and analyzes project development and implementation.
- Reviews relevant documents and reports.
- Identifies problems and issues and proposes corrective actions.
- Liaises with relevant parties and identifies/tracks follow-up actions.
- Performs consulting assignments, including planning and facilitating workshops.
- Assists in developing action plans for partner organizations.
- Researches, analyzes, and presents information from diverse sources.
- Assists in policy review and development.
- Undertakes survey initiatives, designs data collection tools, and analyzes responses.
- Prepares written outputs such as background papers, analysis, and report sections.
- Provides substantive support to meetings and conferences.
- Undertakes and reviews outreach activities and conducts training workshops.
- Participates in or leads field missions.
- Coordinates activities related to budget and funding.
- Manages activities of project personnel within assigned work streams.
- Collects and analyzes data to identify trends and provide insights.
Required Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in project or programme management, administration or related area. Experience related to returnees’ economic empowerment is desirable.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with additional two (2) years qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
