Overview
The intern will assist the Programme Officer and project team lead in implementing project activities for the Immigration and Border Governance (IBG) Unit. The role aims to provide experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation, and communications within the UN development context.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative, financial, and logistical arrangements for the IBG programme.
- Support planning and coordination of trainings, monitoring visits, and programme events.
- Liaise with government counterparts and maintain communication with training participants and trainers.
- Conduct background research and information gathering for project development and reporting.
- Draft and edit communications and visibility products for the IBG Unit.
- Draft presentations, talking points, and other documents.
- Support preparation of training and activity documentation.
- Participate in field missions as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
