Overview

The incumbent will lead the evolution and stability of the fundraising CRM (Salesforce) by acting as the strategic bridge between business needs and technical solutions. This role is responsible for translating fundraising needs into a technology roadmap and automating processes to optimize donor acquisition and retention.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the strategic bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to identify business needs and propose solutions.
  • Analyze and document business requirements, connecting operational needs with technical solutions.
  • Translate complex fundraising objectives into clear technical specifications and user stories.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on user story completion and report on status and challenges.
  • Plan regional releases and manage the development lifecycle, coordinating feature deliveries.
  • Validate functional deliveries (QA) to ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
  • Provide support on the definition and oversee scalable data structures.
  • Assist in the management of the budget and projections for Sales, Marketing, and Experience Cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze emerging technologies.
  • Take ownership of platform security and access governance.
  • Architect and customize the CRM solution.
  • Orchestrate environment management and deployment pipelines.
  • Ensure data integrity across the ecosystem.
  • Lead the discussion on designing complex audience segmentations.
  • Manage external technical support vendor needs and bug resolution.
  • Monitor the health and performance of fundraising platforms and middleware connections.
  • Orchestrate technical resolutions with development partners.
  • Take ownership of the full incident lifecycle.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with vendors, integrators, and system users.
  • Promote Agile methodologies.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of middleware integrations.
  • Provide support on quotation and billing processes.
  • Manage the daily work and administration with developing partners.
  • Document processes to ensure business continuity.
Required Experience
  • Minimum one year of professional experience in managing, developing, and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud.
  • Additional relevant experience with Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence and API architecture is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading and coordinating functional and technical teams.
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies is considered an asset.
  • Experience in Fundraising Operations, payment gateways, PCI compliance and payment platforms are an asset.
Qualifications

University degree in one of the following fields is required: project management, business analytics, science/engineering, information technology, or software engineering.
