Overview
The role focuses on supporting key private fundraising markets on their Individual Giving (IG) strategy and performance, aiming for sustainable net income growth, with a focus on unrestricted income.
Key Responsibilities
- Place the assigned portfolio of markets in the strongest position to deliver ambitious sustainable net growth in long term income, with a focus on increasing the proportion of unrestricted income.
- Act as the IG country focal point for the assigned portfolio of markets, working in collaboration with global and markets’ teams guiding and delivering a strategic approach to Individual Giving.
- Provide strategic leadership to markets, inspiring and aligning them with the global Individual Giving approach.
- Support markets in their portfolio as they shift to increased ambition levels, future proofed strategies, mitigating risks and increasing efficiency.
- Collaborate with other headquarters functions, providing strategic leadership, defining in collaboration with markets the pathway for growth, and aligning priorities and approach with IG specialists.
Required Experience
5 years of relevant professional experience in fundraising leadership roles and a proven track record of individual giving revenue generation experience in complex international nonprofit fundraising is required. Extensive experience in international nonprofit fundraising strategies is required.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in one of the following fields is required: fundraising, marketing, business strategy, or related fields. A Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in a relevant area combined with 2 additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
