Overview
The Senior Contracts Associate is responsible for contracting activities including reviewing and approving TMS adverts, offer letters, new hire contracts, amendments, and no-cost extension contracts. The role involves engagement with processing agents and Officers within ICS to ensure procedural compliance and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and approving TMS advert.
- Reviewing, approving, and signing offer letters via Docusign.
- Reviewing and releasing contracts for new hires and amendments.
- Reviewing and signing no-cost extension contracts/cases.
- Engaging with processing agents and Officers within ICS to approve transactions and provide guidance on procedures and compliance.
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery aligned with GSSC service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Processing accuracy, compliance, and support for TMS advert, Offer signing, PO release/signing.
- Collaboration and client service.
- Reviewing and supporting processing agents on ICS transactions.
- Knowledge management and capacity building/training.
- Other duties as assigned by Team Lead or ICS Managers.
Required Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience in finance, procurement, human resources or administration is required.
- Preferably with the UN or other international organization is required.
- A completed university degree from an accredited institution will be counted as 4 years’ experience.
- Master’s degree will be considered as an additional two years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in planning, organizing and delivering administrative support services is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive communication and information is desirable.
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize is desirable.
- Work experience in a shared services center context is an asset.
- Proven ability to work on SAP or similar ERP systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of UN/UNICEF'S rules, regulations and procedures on Individual consultant contracting is considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- Preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in administration, procurement, human resources, finance or related to the work of the organization is an asset.
