Overview
The IT Assistant provides technical support for corporate IT services, online and hybrid events, and digital media support to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first line IT support to users, addressing hardware, software, connectivity, and collaboration tool issues.
- Respond to incident calls and service requests, resolving issues or escalating them.
- Carry out scheduled service requests such as equipment installation, hardware replacement, software deployment, and LAN connections.
- Document all support actions and outcomes in the automated tracking system.
- Provide basic guidance and on-the-job training to end-users on standard applications and systems.
- Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to enhance service quality.
- Plan, install, configure, test, and operate audiovisual and conferencing systems for events.
- Coordinate with programme teams for event technical requirements, conduct rehearsals, and mitigate technical risks.
- Maintain AV and event related equipment.
- Prepare and manage digital and visual materials for events.
- Record, edit, process, and finalize audio and video content from events.
Required Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT support or service desk functions (for candidates with secondary education).
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience (for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree).
- Experience should preferably include end-user IT support (hardware, software, networks) and support for online/hybrid meetings, AV systems, or conferencing platforms.
Qualifications
• Completed secondary education (High School Diploma or equivalent) and/or Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
