Overview
The Communications and Public Relations Officer will be responsible for the international visibility strategy of the Project Global Innovation Hub for Regenerative School Meals, translating technical evidence into global narratives and managing the dissemination of knowledge products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an international strategy to position the Hub as a global leader in regenerative food systems.
- Manage relationships with international stakeholders and strategic partners.
- Lead editorial content production, including Policy Recommendations, Case Studies, and Video Tutorials.
- Oversee the user-centered dissemination strategy for the Open Knowledge Repository.
- Ensure the Hub’s visibility at high-level convening events.
- Document field successes from Brazil, Kenya, and other pilot countries.
- Support the team in drafting narrative reports and the Final Evaluation Report.
Required Experience
- At least 6 years of progressively responsible work experience with institutional communication, international journalism, or Public Relations, with a focus on sustainable development.
- Proven experience working with multilateral organizations (e.g., WFP, FAO, UNDP, World Bank) or international cooperation projects.
- Extensive background in producing content related to socio-environmental issues, public policy, and/or food security programs.
- Demonstrated experience in international projects with a solid understanding of regional socio-political contexts (Africa, Asia, and Latin America).
- Experience with applied research and scientific communication/outreach is considered a distinct advantage.
Qualifications
University or highest degrees in Social Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields.
