Overview
Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) procurement activities and contract administration for Headquarters and Field Offices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop procurement plans for facilities projects.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and quality assurance of procurement documentation.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for goods, works, and services.
- Coordinate with project teams and technical experts.
- Monitor supplier and contractor performance.
- Implement procurement controls and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with the CSOD Portfolio Management Office (PMO), project teams, suppliers, and contractors.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned.
Required Experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in procurement and contract management for CAPEX, infrastructure, construction, facilities, or technical projects.
- International experience working in several countries managing procurement for multi-country or multi-site projects, including remote or field environments.
- Experience managing large works and goods contracts, including procurement and consulting services.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor performance, contract variations, compliance and performance indicators.
- Leadership experience, including mentoring or guiding junior team members.
Qualifications
- A University degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, finance, or a related field; preferably at post-graduate level or equivalent.
- Recognized procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
