Overview
The consultant will develop strategies, manage campaigns, and advise on optimizing social media presence to drive engagement through content curation on the accounts of the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and publish approved content across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook.
- Manage day-to-day channel activity, ensuring timely posting and active audience engagement.
- Serve as community manager for the Executive Director’s social media accounts.
- Monitor and moderate comments on social media posts.
- Produce engaging multimedia content — including graphics, stories, reels, and written posts.
- Research trends and posts from partners and suggest reposts.
- Collaborate with social media focal points across the organization.
- Assist with the maintenance and updating of a social media editorial calendar for the ED.
- Collaborate with the on-ground team to ensure all content aligns with ongoing campaigns and communication goals.
Required Experience
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing social media channels.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, digital marketing, or a related field is required.
