Overview

Provides assistance in support of planning and implementation of the programme of work for the Director's office in the Subregional Headquarters. Assists in coordination, executive and administrative support, and serves as a focal point for liaison with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provides assistance in support of planning and implementation of the programme of work.
  • Assists in the coordination of Director's office planning and preparation.
  • Provides executive and administrative support to the Director's office.
  • Serves as a focal point for liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drafts, reviews and edits summaries and correspondence for the Director's office.
  • Prepares, maintains and updates files and internal databases.
  • Drafts correspondence and communications related to all aspects of Director's office.
  • Provides guidance and training to new/junior staff.
  • Assists with the collection and analysis of data.
  • Assists with visualizations and updating information material.
Required Experience

At least seven (7) years of experience in programme or project administration, technical cooperation or related area is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five (5) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. One (1) year or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable. Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP is desirable.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
