Overview

The Operations Officer ensures all relevant VISION transactions are undertaken in line with requirements and according to SOPs. The role monitors functional Role Mapping/Table of Authority/Release strategy and manages IRC functions. It provides support in financial transactions related to HACT implementation, focusing on efficiency for field activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical input for VISION transactions processing.
  • Manage and lead the VISION Hub.
  • Ensure transactions are completed within appropriate timelines.
  • Monitor functional Role Mapping/Table of Authority/Release strategy.
  • Review transactions flow and recommend SOP improvements.
  • Facilitate HACT and VISION trainings.
  • Promote VISION Hub as a Knowledge Lab.
Required Experience

A minimum of 1 year of professional experience, at the national and/or international level, is required, specifically in one or more operations management area including budget; financial management and reporting; facilities management; administration; supply and logistics management; information and communication technology; human resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in one of the following areas is required: Business management, Financial management, Accounting, Public Finance, related operations function (Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Technology, International Business, Project management, etc.).

Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
