Overview

Provide specialized support in the implementation and coordination of Human Resources functions in the Country Office in Ireland.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating and monitoring Human Resources management functions.
  • Participate in evaluation of staffing needs and coordinate recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities.
  • Perform assigned roles in wave HR; monitor consistency and accuracy of data.
  • Monitor attendance and leave administration.
  • Carry-out, coordinate and monitor a wide range of Human Resource actions.
  • Coordinate and support payroll administration processes.
  • Prepare, coordinate and monitor all reports on personnel matters.
  • Update and maintain electronic and physical archiving systems.
  • Monitor compliance with the Staff Evaluation System.
  • Plan and coordinate the organization of Human Resource events.
  • Participate in assessments of staff training and development needs.
  • Assist in analyzing and resolving sensitive cases.
  • Provide information to managers and staff with respect to rights, responsibilities, code of conduct and difficulties associated with work and entitlements.
  • Handle all enquiries on Human Resources matters.
  • Participate in inter-agency Human Resources related working groups.
  • Guide, coordinate and supervise the work of staff in the unit.
Required Experience
  • Seven years of relevant experience with a high school diploma; or, five years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in human resources administration, recruitment, personnel actions, payroll support, contract administration and/or staff entitlements.
  • Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or HR management systems.
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information in an HR environment.
Qualifications

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field from an accredited academic institution.
