Overview
The Staff Officer (Host Nation Support) is responsible for Host Nation Support planning and direction in operations, training, exercises and contingency plans, and the development of procedures, policies, concepts and doctrines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in Host Nation Support facets of logistics for the execution of logistics operations and exercises.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in support of the ACO Host Nation Support community.
- Contribute to logistics reporting and assessment.
- Responsible for Host Nation Support co-ordination with internal and external counterparts.
- Perform tasks as foreseen in JFCBS J4 internal instructions during exercises and operations for Host Nation Support.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in logistics management.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in participation in the overall planning, organizing, supporting and execution of logistical programs.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistic planning and execution in operational environment.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in joint logistics operations.
Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent in logistics, transportation or related discipline.
- Equivalent is Higher Secondary Education AND completed advanced vocational training in relevant field leading to a professional certification or accreditation.
