Overview

The consultant will support field verification, activity follow-up, monitoring of implementation progress, data collection, documentation, and reporting related to Public Health Unit (PHU) interventions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field verification missions and submit a minimum of four field verification reports per month.
  • Prepare and submit monthly monitoring and evidence packages.
  • Review and verify field-level data and submit monthly data quality assurance reports.
  • Submit monthly analytical reports on community-based health activities.
  • Conduct verification of selected supported NTP centers, health facilities, MMT operations and service delivery points and submit assessment reports.
  • Prepare and submit reports documenting field-level consultations, coordination meetings and information-sharing activities.
  • Conduct rapid monitoring exercises and submit concise verification reports when requested.
  • Prepare and submit one consolidated monthly report summarizing key findings, trends, implementation progress, risks, challenges, follow-up actions and recommendations.
Required Experience
  • High school diploma with at least four years of relevant professional experience; or, Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations;
  • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups;
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage
  • Experience in field implementation, community outreach, health promotion, public health surveillance, referral follow-up, or humanitarian health programming.
  • Experience in monitoring, verification, data quality assurance, compliance monitoring, programme reporting or health information management is an advantage.
Qualifications

High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (preferably Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or other health-related disciplines) from an accredited academic institution.

Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Knowledge of French or other UN languages is an advantage.
