Overview
The European Commission is seeking an Administrative Assistant for Directorate-General Environment (DG ENV) in Brussels. The role involves supporting the unit's management and ensuring the timely delivery of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- management of documents and correspondence.
- keeping track of deadlines for the tasks assigned to the Unit to ensure timely delivery.
- ensuring the proper coordination, communication and timely preparation and validation of briefings, interservice consultations, etc;
- Provide assistance to the Head of Unit and the deputy Head of Unit in the management of the service by responding to general inquiries and managing the outlook calendar
- Organise missions (MIPS+) and meetings of the Unit
- providing support for human resources management.
Required Experience
Experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
Qualifications
- a level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma, or
- a level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, and appropriate professional experience of at least three years.
